Advance Directives, otherwise known as Living Wills, allow individuals to say how they would wish to be treated in the event that they are unable to express their wishes at the time treatment or ongoing treatment is offered.
There are four types of directive allowing people to express their wishes in respect of (i) Refusal/Consent to treatment; (ii) Dealing with an intolerable condition; (iii) Maximum treatment; and (iv) Treatment preferences. These are sensitive matters in which we are able to assist Clients in making their decisions.
